Welcome to the June edition of the Burjeel Holdings Feat Focus newsletter. This month, we became part of a historic milestone as Suite Ride, our diabetes research initiative, launched into space aboard the Axiom-4 mission. Read the detailed interview to learn more about the mission.

To enhance operational control and strengthen our asset base in strategic locations, we acquired the Medeor Hospital building in Dubai. We also began operating and managing ADNOC’s new hospital on Das Island. In addition, we signed a major sponsorship agreement with Al Dhafra Sports Club, marking the first such partnership following the club’s promotion to the ADNOC Pro League. At Burjeel Royal Hospital, an expert medical team helped a teenager reclaim her life after a 14-year battle with a chronic lung infection.

Further expanding our research efforts, Burjeel Medical City launched two global Phase 3 trials—one for lung cancer and another for inflammatory bowel disease. The ENERGIZE trial, in which we participated, was published in The Lancet, a leading medical journal.
